Double Bedroom Interior Design
About the project
Project Arden focuses on how elements relate to each other, keeping the composition clear and cohesive rather than relying on excess detail. Natural finishes, soft textures, and carefully detailed joinery work together to bring continuity and rhythm to the space.
Materials & craft
Rich walnut herringbone flooring anchors the room, its warm grain creating a natural counterpoint to the deep olive panelling above. Every joint, every edge, every surface has been considered — from the floating nightstand with its clean shadow gap to the carefully curated objects that bring a sense of life without clutter.
The palette stays restrained: olive, cream, walnut, and touches of burgundy in the textiles. It's a room that earns its atmosphere through material quality, not ornament.
Every detail, considered.
Bespoke joinery
Floor-to-ceiling olive cabinetry wraps the room, integrating a vanity alcove with an arched LED-lit mirror, illuminated display shelving, and generous concealed storage. Nothing is an afterthought — the joinery is the architecture of the room.
Brass wall sconces, a globe bedside lamp, and recessed LED strips provide layered, atmospheric lighting that shifts the room's mood between day and night. A window seat with cushioned seating and under-bench storage completes the composition, offering a quiet retreat within the retreat.
