About the project
The original property lacked flow, character, and cohesion — so we set out to reimagine every element through our Design and Build process.
Project Lumen is the full refurbishment of a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Barnet, redesigned to bring contemporary comfort, elegance, and functionality to every space. Shaped around the client's preferences and lifestyle, the transformation touches both the interior layout and exterior appearance.
The exterior
A strong, contemporary presence with impressive curb appeal
The transformation began from the outside. A newly rendered facade, upgraded roofing, bespoke iron gates with decorative brick pillars, and a fully paved driveway give the home a commanding street presence that sets the tone for what lies within.
Every external detail — from the window frames to the landscaping — was selected to create a cohesive, modern look that respects the property's original character.
The kitchen
A bright centrepiece tailored for family living and effortless entertaining
The once dated, enclosed kitchen has been completely opened up into a sleek, modern space. White gloss cabinetry, integrated appliances, quartz worktops, and warm oak flooring create a clean, contemporary feel that invites natural light deep into the heart of the home.
The bedrooms
A calm, timeless palette that creates restful, inviting spaces
Across the four bedrooms, soft blue-grey walls, new oak flooring, and bespoke lighting create an atmosphere of quiet luxury. The principal suite features a generous bay window that floods the room with light, a crystal chandelier, and direct access to an en-suite bathroom.
A dedicated dressing room with floor-to-ceiling wardrobes completes the suite, offering the kind of storage and organisation that transforms daily routines.

The bathrooms
Marble-effect finishes, refined fixtures, and spa-inspired atmospheres
All three bathrooms were redesigned to a high specification. The main bathroom features floor-to-ceiling marble-effect tiles with warm veining, a curved vanity with marble countertop, brushed gold fixtures, and a full-size bathtub that brings a sense of indulgence to everyday life.
The en-suite shower room takes a more contemporary approach with matte black fixtures, a crittall-style shower enclosure, and neutral stone-effect tiling — clean, modern, and purposeful.
