About the project

A carefully considered refurbishment centred around bespoke joinery, natural materials, and understated architectural detailing.

BM has overseen the project from initial design development through to installation and ongoing works, carefully coordinating each stage of the refurbishment to ensure consistency in finish, detailing, and overall execution throughout.

The kitchen

A warm and inviting focal point, combining shaker-style cabinetry with natural oak

The kitchen was designed as the heart of the home — shaker-style cabinetry in muted sage tones paired with natural oak worktops, tongue-and-groove panelling, and subtle integrated lighting. Open timber shelving and tailored joinery elements create a balance between functionality and refined simplicity.

Above, decorative Victorian cornicing has been carefully preserved and restored, allowing contemporary interventions to sit naturally within the existing property's character and proportion.

Flooring & finishes

Herringbone timber flooring bringing continuity, texture, and warmth throughout

New herringbone timber flooring was installed across the property, bringing continuity and warmth to the interior while complementing the muted sage tones and handcrafted finishes within the kitchen.

The wider refurbishment remains ongoing, with bathroom renovations, decorating works, and final finishes forming part of the complete scheme.
